The legend and EDM pioneer Keith Flint has passed today. Keith and his band The Prodigy have brought electronic dance music to the masses. I know I won’t be the only one blasting “Breathe” through my neighborhood today.

While I can’t fathom the pain his family and close friends are enduring, this is also sad for me personally since I’ve recently decided to go see Prodigy live in concert during their scheduled US tour in the spring of 2019.

To many, Keith Flint was someone who reached their industry’s zenith, someone who “had it all”. Yet, Keith took his own life. This puts things and life in a new perspective for many of us. Happiness is relative, depression and mental health are real issues that we still try to hide and are afraid to discuss openly.
